| Albert Stwnp Delivers Address. Albert Stump, democratic candidale for United States senator. delivered the commencment address of the graluating class of a townshlp conselid::ed high school Tuesday evening ila said “Beware of Cynicism™ Do not allow your own failures or another’s success to betray vou into that atfitude so fatal to your usefulness and your happiness. “There is no force more destructive in the world than the force of .synicism. Hypocrisy even is not as great a vice, or it would not be if it were ‘not that it produces finally that very cynicism which is its gravest injury to human well-being. Hypocrisy, at least compliments virtue by attempiing to impersonate it. Cynicism’ snears at virtue and seeks to destroy lall ‘of its lovliness. It would drive lout all pastors because one pastor was }false to his calling. It would scorn to ‘listen to the teachings of any apostle because Judas was a traitor. Forltunately there has been poured into {the life of this state continually the teachings of those who would not be silenced by the cynie's sneer. As a result of their work each rising zeneration has been wiliing to believe lthat it was desirable that the actions jof mankind he based upon considerai‘tion of the race’s most noble virtues.” T 4 ¥
