The state chairman pointed out that any contributions coming te the state committee in the future will create a fund with which to carry o intensive organization work in every community “As you are aware state headquarters with a force at work have. been open constantly during the past two vears, and for a long time prior thereto,” Peters wrote. *The organization work that has been carried on during that period of time has entailed a substantial expenditure of money. By reason of the generous support and co-operation of democrats generally we have been able to pay our current expenses and are now prepared to report that before our state convention meets every dollar of our indebtedness will have been fully paid. 1 count it a privilege to have had the opportunity to co-op-erate with yourself and other memnbers of the state committee your vice chairman county chairman and the loyal democrats in the state of Indiana in bringing about this splendid financial condition of our party.”

1. B. Church Notes
The fine floral decerations that beautified- the church on Easter day were distributed to the homes where there are sick or shut-ins. The spirit that prompted the gift of thoze flowers is being extended. . Last evening a reception tor the new members was held. It was well attended considering the sickness in many of our homes. The order of the evening was devotions, talks, special music, greeting the new members and a soeial hour with refreshments.
. By a majority vote last evening it was decided that our mid-week service should be changed to Thursday instead of Wednesday evening. This is to make it possible for the people that work in the stores may have access to the mid week services. It also avoids the conflict with ba.r;d concerts. For the next five weeks we are taking up a course in Bible study “Christ’s Lordship and- My Stewardship.” : ’ Sunday Services. ‘
