’ Girl is Killed. One girl was kililed and 10 others injured early Sunday when an automobile carrying Notre Dame university students crashed head-on into another car at a street intersection in Chicago. : !

The dead girl Miss Helen Ferry 19 ‘Chicago was hurled to the pavement from the front seat. She died almost instantly. The driver of the car was Francis P. Van Wazer son of a Chicago contractor. Wool Grading Schools. . Schools for grading and marketing wool will be held throughout Indiana this month. They are being arranged and planned by T. I. Ferris president of the Indiana Wool Growers’ Association with the Indiana Farm Bureau Indianapolis. Last week schools were held in Huntington Wells Steuben and LaGrange counties. There are two meetings held in each county one in the forenoon and one in the afternoo: These meetings are held on farms where there are flocks of sheep available for observation and study.| Schools for other counties of the state will be announced in a few days.

Oakland in Record Production The highest January production in the history of the Oakland Motor Car Companyll9,774 Oakland and Pontiac Sixes is being eclipsed by a record February production schedule of 22,268 cars it is announced by W. R. Tracy vice president in charge of sales. ;

‘The fact that our totals for both January and February of this year exceed by a wide margin the combined 1926 and 1927 production during thosa respective months is the best evidence that the Oakland Motor Car Company will be an even greater factor in the automobile industry during 1928” said Mr. Tracy. 2
