~ Love and Monsters Clash. Motion pictures for the mout part are made for entertainment puPfposes. Once in a while a picture is made for scientific reasons but rarely is a feature made which combines both entertainment and scientific education. An exception to the rule is “The Lost World”, the First National-Wat-terson R. Rothacker production. ) Love, romance, adventure as well as education are embodied in the amazing film. Professors of Columbia and the University of California who saw the, picture in the making declare that the greatest thing that has ever oc'curred to bring about a popular inEterest in archaeology was the production of this remarkable film; : 1 Heretofore paleontologists have had to depend upon reconstructed skele-i tons of the dinosaurs for their studios;l How they breathed, walked, ate,} fought and slept was never actually seen. In many instances these im-" portant attributes were merely guesswork. In “The Lost World"” they ara! amazingly and entertainingly mvealedi and added to this is a plausible andg highly r.om}&ntic story of adventure. [ At Crystal next week. .
