To Do More Time. President Coolidge has informed the friends of Gov. McCray that if he is to be pardoned, his petition must contain a plea of ill health, There has been a good deal of news in circulation for the past few months to the effect that McCray had to give up the apartments. He suffered a second forthe reason that his health was badly broken, and it is surprising that this was not mentioned in the petition for pardon. It is evident that Coolidge feels that the prisoner has not yet been punished sufficiently for the crimes he has ¢ommitted and unless it can be made certain that his health is being badly undermined he will have to remain in Atlanta some time S 0 far as Coolidge is concerned. :
