1 LIGONIER GIRL WINS FAME Mildred Wineburg Gains Reputation as Short Story Writer at Aunstin ' ~ Illinois. s - Miss Mildred Wineburg a former Ligonier pupil and daughter of the late Dr. Wineberg has won quite a greputa'tion as a short story writer for .the Austin High School Times. That paper says of her: e “Mildred Wineberg is z}ssistant news editor of the Times. She has contributed 'largely to the paper in the way of Literary Reviews, sto'ries,i poems, mews and autobiographies, also .an essay, “Bluffing.” Mildred‘ holds several offices in actiyities of. the school, namely program chairman of the Story Club, Pentong Club secretary -and chairman of the morning “Y” meetings. Her story *“But That Fish” appears in this issue, It is her latest story. The autobiography of last week was written by Mildred which shows what a value. she is to the Times.” ML e Y.
