Royse of the Kosciusko county circuit court, has set December 28 as the date for hearting the arguments regarding the priority. claims of patrons of the Farmers’ State bank of Milford whose valuable papers and bonds, it is alleged have bheen stolen by officers of theb ank. There are 15 or more priority claims amounting to approximately $45,000. o Indignation is running rife over the fact that James Frank Peterson a former dentist at Milford and director in the Farmers’ State Bank who was indicted by a Kosciusko..county grand jury charged with “loaning of funds to an officer of the bank” has not been brought to trial. Prosecutor Morrison Rockhill has made a statement that if Peterson is not brought to trial during the December term of court that an affidavit will be filed renewing the case—Syracuse Journal. : Isaac Wert Dead. ~ Isaac Wert aged 67 years prominent resident of South Milford met a tragic death Thursday afternoon about 2:45 o’clock while assisting in felling trees in the woods on his farm (northeast of South Milferd.
