TAXES DISTRIBUTEED FOR FALL] Delinguent Tax In Counnty Is $21,000, Report -of Treasurer Cockiey ~ Shows Just Made Public : Taxes collected by County Treasurer Herbert Cockley during the fall tax paying period amounted to $451,400.70 and this sum has been distributed among the various taxing units by County Auditor = Orville Pressler. Checks have also been prepared by County Auditor Pressler for the trustees’ distribution For the spring installment of taxes approximately $526,000 was collected. The outstandng taxes of the county aggregate $2l 000 according to Treasurer Cockley as given in the Kendallville News. Sun. : ; S . :

. Death of Guy Heiber. Guy H. Hieber born in Ligonier June 9 1890 and for 35 years a resident of this city died at 7:30 o’clock this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Wood after a lingering illness. For ygars he successfully conducted a photograph studio in the Zimmerman block and despite the handicap of physical disability he. was very successful. He was of a disposition to win the friendship of the community and his death will be sincerely mourned. : . Surviving Mr. Hieber are a brother Claude Hieber of North Dakota Miss Berniece Hieber of Detroit 'Mich., and Mrs. Thelma Duke of Ligonier, Mrs. Frank P. Wood is an aunt. The funeral" will ‘be held Wednesday afternoon from the Wood home cons ditional upon the arrival of the brother.
