Mrs, Joseph McKinsey Mishawaka is in the hospital at Plymouth and may die as a result of injuries leceived Sunday evening, south of LaPaz on the Michigan road when the automobile in which she was riding with her husband and Lloyd Dockhart of Elkhart collided with that of Mr. and Mrs. Norris Trash of Niles. . The jaw bone of Mrs..McKinsey was removed at the hospital and she is in a very precarious condition. The other four occupants of the cars were badly bruised, but not seriously injired. Mr. and' Mrs. McKinsey were returning from Star ¥ity where they were called to the deathbed of an aunt. ' : ¢ Bandit Robs Meat Market. A bandit unmasked and carrying a revolver held up attendants and robbed the Walter J. Palm meat market at South Bend .obtaining $l5O in cash. Becoming frightened he gave up an attempt to obtain a larger amount of money from the safe. The robber who eatered the place when Palm was alone with a clerk escaped in an auto-, mobile. : i
Automobile Is Stolen. A Ford coupe owned by William Brady of Goshen was stolen sometime Monday afternoon from a parking [space in front of the Jefferson building. Mr. Brady parked the car Monday afternoon at about three o’clock ‘and in the evening found that it had i disappeared. : . e e i Largest City in Indiana. - Gary’s annexation of thirteen square miles by action of the city council in a secret meeting brings the total area ‘up to sixty-four square miles. ~ Today Gary is the largest city in Indiana outranking Indianapolis in territory. . , : : Will Rink Killed. Will Rink 25 of Ida Michigan a former resident of Millershurg was killed Monday in an automobile collision near -his home. : E. D. Stutesman of Kendallville greeted his friends with a pleasant smile here Tuesday. During the month of November 873 lhunting licenses were issued at Warsaw. : Mr. and Mrs. Harley Yant were in Kendallville guests of Mr. and ‘Mrs. J. K. Mawhorter. | Hold Family Reunion. ‘ A reunion of the J. L. Dunning family was held last Sunday at the home of Louis J. Dnning in Warsaw. It was the annlversary of the Sugar Hill automobile wreck in which Mrs. J. L. Dunning lost her life and other members of the family were badly injured . A big turkey dinner delighted the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Graham of South Bend Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Draper son Jack Miss Elizabeth Dunning and J. L. Dunning all of Ligonier. New Deputy U. S. Marshal, Gustave A. Kunkel 41 a New York Central yard brakeman at Elkhart is in a serious condition at the General hospital as the result of an accident in the yards Monday night. Kunkel was caught between two cars as they were being coupled together., His chest was crushed and he sustained interna] injuries which will probably prove fatal. College Building Burned. Greencastle authorities today are seeking to determine the origin of the fire which practically destroyed Rosa Bower a mens’ rooming house at DePauw University. ; The building which was more than 75 years old was one of the college landmarks. .

Roberts has been ill and wunable to do his work. o ' Automobiles Stolen. Five automobiles four of them closed cars were stolen in South Bend within a few hours. One’ of the missing cars a Ford sedan is the property of Lloyd Farrington of Nappanee.
Killed by Auto. John Anderson aged about 80 years for many years a resident of Pierceton was struck by an automobile near Winona Lake and died a short time later from [ i 4 injuries. Dannrermans .
