Another Goshen Man Killed - John C. Vander Reyden aged 63 vears of Goshen was killed instantly about 6:20 o'clock Wedensday morning when struck by an automobile driven by HKarl -Hostettler of Middlebury. ;L o The accident happened almost in front of the aged man’s home. He had just left the house an was crossing the street to join his son Cornelius who had gone for an auto in which they were to ride to their Pplace of employment at the Goshen Churn and Ladder company’s plant. Filed Suit For Damage. Mrs. Goldie O'Connell by her attorneys William Gray of Syracuse Loehr and S. J. Brown has filed suit in the Kosciusko = Circuit court against Thomas J. and Clayton E. Cutter of Mentone for $5,000 for injuries received in an auto accident that occurred June 3. It ig understood that an Auto Insurance Co., will contest the case.

Death of (hrist Peters. Christ Peters 61 a tifelong resident of Elkhart township died Wednesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Magnuson of near Wawaka, of paralysis. He had been confined to his bed for four months preceding his death. He died on the farm where hte was born. Mr. Peters was well known in the community. His wife and two children were killed in a railroad a('ci(ient 12 years ago and since that time he had lived alone. Surviving- is one-half brother Fred Peters of Mishawaka and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral servoices were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wawaka M. E. church. Rev. Fred Wild officiating. Burial was made in the Cosperville cemetery at Cosperville. ‘Wallace M. Warsaw Dentist Dies. Dr. E. F. VanOsdol prominent Warsaw dentist died in the office of Dr. W. . G. Burkett former Warsaw dentist at Hammond Tuesday. Burkett said ‘he had been drinking and had asked permission to sleep in his office.
