Cochran, and mother of Edith, Dean and Jessie, and sister of Mrs. F.'H. Green, to her heavenly reward, where the dngels are singing around the Throne of he: .oved and Saviour and Christ, Her voice in our earthly choir has been stilled.: Her pray_ei's, many have been answered. She now goes to join that neavenly choir, to sing and rejoice with he» Savious whom she loved and wershiped. Many are they who will remember her for that true and noble heart, that was always ready with alms and prayers to cheer those in need, and to point the way to a redeemed life. . e
‘We, as a church, lay our hearts upon the altar of . the bereaved, andf pour out ous sympathy in this their dark hour of sorrow, and pray that the cloud of sorrow may be lifted, and that the subshine of Godd’s love will lift the burden in their broken hearts. Recognizing that a devoted Sister has been taken from the church, as well as a devoted wife and mother from thg home. Realizing that a strong heart and hand has been removed from its usefulness in the church on e'a,rth‘,\ and the Church Triumphant has added a new member. Our grief can only be measured by those who have been ted to Christ by the charm of her singing, pvaying and teaching, ;n the church and Sunday school where she was always found in. her place. And, as we quote one of her favorite verses “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,” we know she has gone where sorrow -ig unknown. Sister *Ella was the oldestmember of our local church being a charter member always enjoying the confidence and good will of the entire membership, and always workings for the upbuilding of the church and the Kingdom of God. Resolved: that the Church Sunday School Ladies Aid, and the Missionary Societies extend to Brother Cochran family and sister Mrs, Green our hearts profoundest sympathy in this, their dark hour of sorrow, and that our prayers will go with them to and beyond the grave of this loved one.
