At Christian Chureh. Thé Christian church of Ligonier is announcing a series of Sunday night serives which will be of interest to many people outside the immediate circle of the church folks. On next Sunday evening there will be a Cross Service with an illuminated cross, a tableu entitled Rock of Ages and a large chorous leading the congregation in the singing of many of the old gospel songs of the cross. A male quartet and a soloist will add to the musical program. The Pastor will preach on the Cross of Glory. This serive will close the all day services of the Home Coming day of the church.
On Sunday evening Oct. 25th the religious drama “Two Masters’” is requested for the Kendallville Christian church and .if possible the request will be complied with. On Nov. Ist, the religious drama Dorcas’ the Neighbor will be presented on Nov. 3th Mrs. Porter will give a reading of Henry Van Dyke’s “The Lost Word” with special concert numbers to support the religious theme on Nov. 15 the drama Moses will be -presented by the children. . ‘ Proi Reed to Play. The Imany friends of Prof. Reed will be pleased to know that he is to play at the Christian church Sunrday evening. at the special cross service.
