The federal government, which made the application for the injunction was represented by .U. S. Distriet Attorney Albert Ward of Indianapolis acting for the attorney-general of the United States. Death of Edward DePev, - Edward G. DePew aged 57 vears and a prominent farmer died of compiications at his home four miles easi of Ligonier Monday morning after an extended illness. " He was prominent in his community. Surviving are his widow two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Cuppy of Ligonier, Mrs, Bert Buckles of Kimmell and two sony John DePew of Elkhart and (ql'oéiloy of ‘Wawaka. The, funeral wa® held Wednesday afternoon from the Wawaka M. B. church and the remains were laid in Sparta cemetery. ’ . Gasoline Price Goes Up. : The price of gasoline at filling stations was advanged one cent a gallon Tuesday. Motodists are now paying 244 eent a gallo‘h. The raise was announced yesterday by the Standard Oil company of Indiana.
