Hose was riding a bicycle when he was struck by the car the driver of which did not stop. ' At Goshen nhospital where Mr. Auer Was taken it was determined that he had received a deep gash on the back of his head and that his back had been been injured but that otherwise he ‘'was not dangerously hurt. . ' The switch engine which was going east at a low rate of speed according to eye witnesses struck the. Ford in the rear, when Mr. Auer turned up the track in an effort to avoid the train completly wrecking the back o fthe machine. It s thought that Mr: Auer did not see the engine or the eleetric red warning signs which were’flashing as he is sald to have driven directly onto the crossing inio the path of the engine, : i j {

Mrs. Iva May Eversole 28 wife of Silas Newton FEversole Jr., a farmer and plumber residing two miles north of Bristol committed isuicide at her home Sunday morning - about aine o’clock by shooting herself through the heart with her husband’s .32-cali-ber revolver.
