Ifrandenberg of Garret authority to settle her claim against the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad company for $11,750. ' - Mr. Brandeénbery was a brakeman and was killed in an accident last August 28. The beneficiaries of the proposed settlement are the widow Mrs. Brandenberg 19 years old at the time of her husband’s death and two children, William 19 months old and Dorothy aged 2 months. The administratrix is the mother of Mrs. Brandenberg. .

Tippecanoe River Park.

Sponsored by the Izaak Walton league a bill was introduced ‘in ‘lndianapolis by Representative Forest Kncpper Warsaw for purchase by the state of river banks along the Tippecanoe river in Koskciusko Marshall and Fulton counties,. A one mill tax levy for 1925 and 1926 is proposed. The bill also provided for a state park at Pigeon lake in LaGrange county. : 5

Another Alcohol Death,

A man whose identity was unknown up to a late hour yesterday died from denatured alcohol poisoning in the police: ambulance while he was being taken to the Methodist hospital at Fort Wayne. : The coroner said the dead man’s stomach smelled like an automobile radiator in the winter season. ;

Gasolene Goes Up‘:

Local dealers were ordered to increase the price of gasolene one cent the gallon Friday and the price is now 18.4 cents. It has been several months since the the price was -Taduced. : =
