Longbrake of the Lincoln Cafe has receipts showing that he paid the fine and costs in a Warsaw court where he was charged with the illegal: possession of liguor ' and the case is settled in full. He says the statement that he would be sent to the penal farm is unwarranted and untrue.

Threatened With Pneumonia. : Joseph W, Smith the well known flkhart county farmer and dairyman is contined to his bed threatened with plural pneumonia. The-malady started like a bad cold and Mr. Smith kept on his feet thinking to wear it out, but finally he weakened and went to bed. ' _ Union Thanksgiving Service.
