Decatur Man Found Dead. ~While cranking a rowboat motor attachment Tuesday afternoon in front of his cottage west ol the Trippelet hotel at Rome City Charles Meibers 59 is' believed to have been knocked unconscious and was found dead in three feet of water at 7 o’clock Tuesday night by his brother who saw his boat drifting near shore. A contusion of the jaw led Coroner Trurip to believe that the man had been kicked by the motor attachment while atempting to crank it and being knocked unconscious, had fallen into the water. ~ Mr. Meibers an employee of the Indana Service corporation in the ‘winter time stayed at Rome City durling the summer months where he :»rented cottages to vacationists. The ‘body was taken to Decatur. :

Levi Douglas was sentenced to 90 days on the Allen county penal farm and was fined $lO on a charge brought by his former - wife who testified that he had failed to comply with a July court order which required him to pay $lO a week for the support of his three small children at Fort Wayne.
