o Clearing Up Coniusion. Some confusion and misunderstané ing exists concerning the rights of honorably discharged soldiers to huni and fish in Indiana without a license Only former service men who are re. sidents have this privilege, and that non-resident former service men d¢ not have this privilege under the In. diana law. The law establihing the resident hunting and fishing license exfiressly states that ' only soldiers sailors and marines who ' actually served in a war may fish and huni wtihout a license, Civil war veterans of the whole United States, however may hnnt and fish free in Indiana Mannfeld suggests that if ex-soldiers and service men claiming their righ under this law carry their discharge ‘papers while hunting much confusion now prevalent can be avoided. i Sucker Picnie Sunday. What is known as “The Sucker An: ‘nual Picnic’ the members of whieh are made up of former residents of Ilinois ,was held yesterday at Harrold’s Landing, Blue lake, with a big attendance.
