.. Fred A. Bryan Dies, Fred A. Bryan 57 years old promt nent business man of South Bend an{ former president of the Indiana & ‘Michigan Electric Co., died at Epwort/, hospital ‘Wednesday night, after an illness of les sthan a week. His deat! was caused by, typhoid fever and blooc poisoning which developed. ' Mr. Bryan was connected with the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company from 1901 until last year and unde his management the company becam one of the largest and most importan; in the middle west. A controlling in terest in the company was sold to the American Gas & Electric Co., in 1923 when Mr, Bryvan resigned and after ward became connected with = the Studebaker interests in an advisors capacity. : fi : ~ Mr. Bryan frequently visited Ligo. nier and was known to a good mang residents here. % :
