Good Ball Game.

One of the best ball games witnesseq in Ligonier in a long time was the contest Priday afternoon in this city between the Goshen high school team and the school boys. While the result was 10 to 3 in favor of the visitors good ball was played all the time by both teams. .

Mr. and Mgs. Michael Hire feel hurt and naturally indignant over the action of a thief or thieves whg robbed their Grand street lawn last Tuesday night of 68 red and yellow tulip blossoms. The flowers beautiful specimen were being saved for Decoration Day. - S

Off For New England.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Culver of Elkhart formerly of Ligonier are going on a visit of sixty days to New England. - They' will visit their daughter Mrs. L. A. Hoffman at Bridgeport. Connecticut and will take in Hartford in that state and Bosten, Mass., before returning.

Fortune Teller Gets $25.

Mrs. G. Harris of Elkhart colored reported to the police that a dark complexioned woman had come to he: ho&;e under the pretext of telling he foTtune had stolen $25 from her. She said thie woman was wearing a brown chinchilla coat and a light hat.
