. Obituary. - Hazel Lucile Shock daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Shock was born July 24 1911, and departed this life March 31 1924 age 12 years 8 months and 6 days. . Hazel' was the second child born to Mr. and Mrs. Shock she. was a loving and dutiful child, always wanting to share whatever she had with others, she felt best when making others happy. She leaves to mourn her loss a father and mother two gsisters, namely Mable, Jessie May and one brother Frederick with a host of relatives and friends, Thus closes a life of sunshine here to begin a life Ewith the white robed throng in Heayven. 3 -

Miller statz fire marshal revealed. ' : - Fires cost Hoosier property owners '57,900,00 last' year. During January Februnary and March of this year the loss was a pdund $7,000,000. S ~The loss is one of the heaviest in the history of the state. There was no appréciable increase in the number of fires but a few big fires with damages of $lOO,OOOO to $500,004 swelled the total rapidly. .
