Suit is Compromised.
An agreement was rached in the Machett ditch case at Plymouth. Thy compromise provides for the removal of dams atTippecanoe and Talma and this plan will cost but a tenth of what the dredging plan was estimated to cost. There was much Opposition to the -ditch, which it way said would lower the lever of Tip{ pecanoe lake. :
