To Protect Wafnsee Cottages. The Wawasee Protective Association of Lake zWawas’ee, has recently enlarged its membership to include nearly all of the property owners on. the lake. The assoclation includes some of the most prominent people of Indiana and is very active in all matters pertaining to- the protection of-.its members. The association employes policemen who patrol the lake during the entire' year and this has been found to be quite effective in the matter of protecfing property owners against thieves and other undesirables. In fact during the past year there have beéen practically no cottages broken into. <
Minors Forbidden to Hunt.
Attention has been called to the fact that many minors are hunting this fall. This is a misdemeanor and punishable by fine and imprisonment or, both. Parents should caution their young sons about the matter. If this is the law as pointed out by the Bristol Banner it is being violate in Ligonier and quite generally in Noble county. : i ]
Fines Reach $1,600.
Fines and costs totalling $1,512.25 were imposed upon liquor law violators by Judge Richter in the Laporte circuit court when Rose Stesiak and Alvin Pitrawski of that city and ®Raul Felski, of Michigan City, plead ed quilty to the charges on which they were arraigned.
New Bus Schedule.
Under a new -schedule the Golden Fawn. Bus Line leaves Ligonier as follows: For Fort Wayne, 8:50 a.m.,; 12:50 and 4:46 p.m. For South Bend, 8:15 am.; 12:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. .Two trips are scheduled for Sunday, leaving South Bend and Fort Wayne at 7:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. |

Ray Gale, . traveling salesman of Detroit ended his life at a Michigan City hotel Thursday by placing a chloroformed handkerchief over his face. A note, addressed to his brother, Harold Gale, of Detroit, stated that He was: going insane and that it ‘‘wag the only way out’. _
