* At the Christian Chureh. ' Bible school 9:30. : ! Morning wership 10:30.* . Evening worship 7:30 at which time E. A.. Miles of Indianapolis will bring the message. o Dear Parent Reader:—This is the time when you dre earnestly talking over the problems of schooling for your children. It may be that you are sending your first born to school for the first time. When the morning comes for mother to kiss that little tot and send him off to schdol it will be the beginning of a great new day for both you and him. Later will come the high school with "all that it means; and later still the col: lege. : S e There is never any question- in your minds but that Robert or Mary shall go to the grammar school. You want to see that they, at least, finish high school. But a great many parents debate the question as to their children going to college. You feel that you haven’t the money to send them, or you are doubtful as to the real value of a college education; or the boy is anxious to get a job and begin earning money for himself ani the girl is more interested in that young man who. is coming to see her. ‘than she is in going to school. But whatever may be the source of your hestitation and doubts, let me.urge you to keep that boy or' girl in school if there is any way in the wotld' to do it, you will never; regret it and, in future years, you will*be thankful many times that you made such a decision. And what "is more you can’'t afford not to send him, Do you know how much it is going te cost him throughout a lifetime if he drops out of high school? Take a good look at this table. Which one of these groups wil eventually include your child? Distinguished men of America and their education. ;

- With no schooling of five millien, only. 31 attained distinction. With elementary schooligg of 33 million, 808 attained distinection. & . With high school education of two million, 1245 attained distinction. With college education of one million 5768 attained distinction. : The child with no schooling has one chance in 150,000 of performing distinguished service; - with elementary education he has four times the chance; with high school education 87 times the ‘chance; with college education 800 time the chance. Make sure that your chance is the best. ] : ‘ 1 have written more than I intended, however, once more I urge vou to see to it that your ‘boy or your girl is in \school this coming year, even at great sacrifice. : . : Wishing you every success and happinesé_in the mattgr of the education of yeur children, I am, sincerely, ‘ " Ira C. Boyts. Pastor;
