Side-On Collision.
An oil truck driven by Nolen Renner collided with a Ford touring car owned and operated by Hershel Reed at the alley on Second street just back of the Banner office Wenesday about noon. The oil trutk being driven north in the alley hit the Ford near the rear wheels at' the Second street crossing and threw it againist the curbing doing considerable damage to the lighter vehicle. The damage to the big truck was slight. Peppermint oil $2.65 Pound. S. L. Fryer who buys about all the peppermint oil sold in the Ligonier market says this year’s crop is only a fair one. The oil brings $2.65 a pound in thre local market. ' | 83 Years in Same Position. It will be just 33 years next Saturday that Charles Nelson entered the store in which he is still employed. The business is now owned ‘and operated by F. E. Miller. ‘

' The average attendance at the Winona Bible Conference exceeded over 4,500 daily and the total registrations were 3.250.
