Orders Mail Boxes Painted.

Attorney General New has ordered all rural mail boxes and posts painied white. General New says: “It is desirable that the boxes be. painted white with the name of the head of the family or families on both sides 'of the box in neat black letters one inch in height also that the painting be done at least once each year. ; . : “It is requested also that the posts or supports to which the boxes are attached be painted white. This will improve not only the appearance of the boxes but wil ladd materially to the life of the boxes and thep osts. "~ To Attend Encampment. - Indiana delegates to the fifty-sev-enth national encampment of = the Grand Army of the Republic at Milwaukee September 2 to 7 will number approximately 1,500 according tc Albert J. Ball Indiana 'department commander. - The delegates will register and committee meetings will be held Mon: day. The first general assembly will be at 8 o’clock in the evening in the auditorium o fthe Hotel Wisconsip! meetings and social gatherings will be held Wednesday. Business sessions will be conducted Thurday and a part of Friday. .

Letters From France.

Mrs. S. C. Sackett and G. M. Zimmerman aunt and uncle of Francis Zimmerman this week received very interesting letters from the young man who is sojourning in Paris, France for a time sightseeing. Three Family Reunion. ’ The Wolf-Kendall-Kerchner fam ilies will hold their reunion at the home of Walter E. Wolf ~ Sunday. August 25, one mile north of Kimmell.
