Alleged Bank Robber Taken.

. George H. Shipley 30 of Kansas ' City, Mo., alleged/ Oklahoma bank robber was arrested in Middlebury at 6 o’clock Monday evening by Matt Sankey of Chickasha, Okla., sheriff; Lyman Fenda son of Sheriff Fonda of Elkhart county; and Charles A. -Hoover Middlebury banker and hiz ~ son, Harold Hoover.as he was returninfi'g from Goshen in an automobile *with wife her mother and her sister Mrs. Burt Gannon of Middlebury at whose home they had been visiting for several days. Production of the Ford Motor Com pany went to a new high record for the "week ending Tuesday July 24. during which a total ‘of 40,930 cars and Trucks were turned out for domestic use, the Ford News announces. This exceeds by 127 the record production of the previous week. ol W The Fordson Tractor plant’s output for the week was 1,882.. ' At the Lincoln division of the company a new production mark was established with a’total of 210 cars for the week ending Tuesday. = ’A_——___.p——‘Kelley Machine Brought Home. Councilman Marion Galloway drove a truck to Hammond - and brought home the Harry Kelley Ford sedan which figured in an accident in which Mrs. Frances Billman was Kkilled, Mrs. Sue Kelley Huffman probably fatally injured and Harry Kelley died from. shock. The top of thec ar is gone and there are other serious damages to the machine although it runs on its: own wheels.
