Notiece of Determination to Issue .- Bonds ;

Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of the City of Ligonier Noble county Indiana did on the 95th ‘day of June 1923 determine to issue the bonds of said city in the amount of Twelve Thousand dollars to raise funds for the payment of the costs and expenses incident to the repair and extension of the city ‘water works' saig bonds to be a proper, valid and subsisting debt against the taxing district of said city of Ligonier. An annual tax levy is to be made, for the purpose of raising funds for the payment of said bonds and the interest thereon computed at the rate of five per cent per annum, payable semi-annually as the same become due. : Notice is therfore hereby given to the taxpayers of said city of Ligonier Noble County Indiana who will be affected by the proposed issue of said bond of the aforesaid determination of said common council to issue the same and that petitions or objectious thereto may be filed as provided by law If proper objection be not made said bonds will be issued as determined. . People of the North Side feel that an injustice was done when Uncle Enoch Golder, who served so faithfully as janitor. of the Ligonier Public Library since its establishment was displaced and his only source of 'maintenance cut off in his old age. E’Hardly any organization these days lay off its employees on account of old age without some pension provided for their care. 7 North Sider _ Warning to Auto Drivers. Some thoughtless persons no doubt un familiar with the law are in the habit of parking their cars in the alleys obstructing the driveways and blocking traffic.
