. Rare June Days - : There is nothing so rare as a day in June—especially this June. The highest temperature of any June in many ‘years was recorded June 1. Thursday night and early Friday the temperature took a sudden decline and Qropped to 50 degrees. This is 2 drop of 36 degrees compared to Tues day. The high winds were most dis agreeable and particularly made tra veling for motorists unpleasant.

Woman Files Damage Suit. Alice Griggs has filed suit for $5,000 damages against thec ity of Fort Wayne as the result of injuries she is alleged to have received when she fell on a sidewalk. Her back was injured. o ’

Mrs. Earl Eckhart submitted to an operation in Goshen hospital Friday morning. She has her baby daughter with her in the institution. .

It is feared that Mrs., Virgil Todd will have to sibmit to another opera tion and she will probably enter Go shen hospital for that purpose. -
