Youths Are Sent Over.
. Cleo Neft of Warsaw and. Verley Bronson of Newcastle both 16 years of age weres entenced to the Jeffersonville reformatory from -one to 14 years on Thursday by Judge L. W. Royse after they pleaded guilty :to the charge of having stolen an. auto: mobile belonging to Wallace Clay in the Kosciusko circuit court. The car was recovered a short time ‘after the boys abandoned it two miles south of Warsaw. i
List of Graduates Increase.
Eighty-four passed the second diploma examaination bringing the successful applicants from the “rural sc%ools up to 168, Those who failed to pass will have their final test May 19. Those to pass in Perry township are: Martha”Schlabach, Coral Adair, Ruth Carper, David Cunningham, Cyril Ryan, Venetta Miller. - .'The county commencement will be held in Albion June 7. i

The session of the Northeastern In diana Academy of Medicine held at. Kendallville Thursday night was at tended by about 40 physicians from near®y cities. The 'principal address was made by Dr. A. M. Ligonier ladies who started an agitation-for a change in the name of Main street have aroused much specula tion as to what the new name should be. D. O. Bailey suggests the anie of Braden avenue in honor of one of {he old and prominent families of this city, the late’ Major Braden being one of its distinguished members. . .
