Starke County Shooting. | Four residents of San Pierre were slightly injured Monday nighi when Leo Hogan 35 fired a charge of bird shot into a crowd of persons attending a Ku Klux Klan gathering in a garage. Hogan was arrested by the Starke county sheriff and is in jail at Knox. o Those struck by the shot were Forest Gilmore, Ed Kilkins, Mrs. Henry Wiseman and Mrs. Paul Hardell. The trouble started when Hogan was denied admittance to the meeting.
