Low Water Pressure.

! Owing to an accident to one of the big pumps at the municipal water station Tuesday night the water pressure was low all day yesterday ani last night. It seems sand worked into valves in the big pump destroying its efficiency and it was found necessary to resort to the old pump.. The damaged valves will have to be replaced before full relief is obtained. The city will be fortunate if fire ~keeps away urtil the repairs are made.

Home From the South.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kuhns who spert the winter in Florida and visited Cuba before their return arrived in the city yesterday. Mr. Kuhn says after a rest of a day or two he will again sell Ford cars for the Universa!l Sales Co., of this city a position he has occupied for two years with much success. ;

Ralph Gerbasi 25; Robert Salto, 2% Rose Gerbasi, 18; and Stella Salto, 17 all of Chicago are under arrest at South Bend charged with passing bad checks. It is said they confessed.

Fred Hole 60 formerly of Kendall ville died at Shrewsburg England of bronchitis and complications. He located in Kendallville in 1888 going there from England. o $
