Bible Lecture Sunday.
_ A lecture will be given next Sunday afternoon at the Lyric Theatre at 3 o'clock by Alex Havourd of the Goshen Class of International Bible Students. Clarissie Lee the little girl so badly burned when her clothing. caught fire in this city on New Years day has been removed to a South Bend hospital by her foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Wade of ‘that city. The child since the accident had been cared for at the home of Mrs. Mary Wade in Ligonier, I ;

Clyde J. Castetter Goshen coal dealer in an Elkhart hospital suffering from injuries received when his automobile collided with a trolley car, found a part of the cluster of 'diamonds valued at $4OO in the smash up. He has a broken arm and many bruises. £ ; .
Finger Tip Crushed Off.
: While assisting inthe removal of the old vault from Citizens Bank tc give place to the new one the first of the 'week W. N. Showalter had the end of the third finger on his left hand crushed off and he is unable to work in consequence. -

In the Noble circuit court for the present term, among the many -civil actions’ pending there are 17 divorce cases which is quite a reduction from former terms. There are also 21 criminal actions pending.

Monday aficles of incorporation were filed with the secretary of state for the Ligonier Artificial Ice ~company with a capital stock of $25,000, $15,000 of which is preferred -stock. .

The operetta “Under thé Flag’ will be presented by Elkhart township school pupils at Wawaka Thursday evening March 15. Much preparation has beén made for this entertainment.
