Benjamin Mattingly 69 and his wife of near Bourbon, were instantly killed when the automobile in which they were riding was struck by a B. & 0. locomotive at a crossing near Nappanee last Monday. The bodies were horribly mangled. - = . .

Only One Hurt.
_But one person was hurt when thel Paige sedan owned and driven by Hirland Hostetler of this city, and also occupied by Mrs. Hostetler, their four-year-old son, Harold and: Mrs. Eugene Gardner, alsogof Goshen, skidded and turned over on the Ligonier road, four miles east of Millersburg, about one o’clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Hostetler recefved a cut on one finger while the others escaped injury. The“car was badly damaged, one wheel being : crushed several - windows broken and two fenders bent—Goshen Demoerat. 3
