Farewell Party.

A farwell party was given Mr. and Mrs.° Karl C. Hayden, Monday evening at their home two miles north of the city; the affair being successful ly planned by Mrs. Willard Tyler and Mrs. Adrain Adair. The evening was spent in playing games, the prizes being won by Mrs. Ray Slabaugh, John Grooms and Eli Beckner. Those present were Mess Ts. ‘and Mesdames Willard Tyler, Rush Cunningham, Earl Hastetter, Dale Hite and -children, Eli Beckner ana children, John Grooms and son, Ray Slabaugh, and the Misses Lucile Stewart and Margaret Beckner. Mr. and Mrs. Hayden soon leave for Mishawaka, and the best wishes of their many friends go with them.

Mrs. Samuel Osborn, 73, died Monday night the result of burns: suffer: ed when her clothing caught fire by an overheated stove in her home.
