Dissatisfied With Verdict.

The hearing of Guy Reed who was arrested Friday evening during a series of “moonshine” raids by Kendallville officials was held late Saturday afternoon. Reed entered a plea of guilty ‘to the charge of having had an unlawful amount of liquor in his possession and was assessed a fine of $lOO and costs, amounting to $135 and sixty days at the state - penal farm. Reed appealed the case to the Noble circuit court and gave bond for his

appearance. William Bloomfiell, whose -home was also raided Friday evening, was ill and unable to appear for a ‘hearing. ; !
