Nearly Severs Leg.
Albert Reider of Whitley county residing a mile and a half northwest of Etna nearly severed his right leg just above the ankle,» while cutting corn in the field with a sledcutter.
Smith Substitutes.
Joseph W. Smith is taking the place of rural mail carrier Louis K. Marker. Mr. Marker has been laid up with an abcess and is unable to ride in his car. i
