Game Violators For July.

State game wardens arrested 270 persons in July as agdinst 132 during July a year ago, a report of George N. Mannfeld chief of the fish and ggne division of the state conservation department made public says. Convictions. numbered 260 as against 126 last July while fines and costs this July totalled $4,885.20 as against $3,943.35 lin July as year ago. ;

Two Divorces Granted.

At a special term of the Noble circuit court Monday two'divor_ées “were granted Valentine Steffe securing a legal separation from Jennie Steffe and Emma Dowell secured like favor when she was granted a decree from Charles Dowelk ‘The parties all reside in Kendallville." ;

Warpup in Bad Again.

‘Paul Warpup of Auburn a former Noble county youth who has figured in a nmber of criminal episodes during the past year is under arrest at Kendallville to answer a charge of larceny and to carrying a 45 automatic revolver which he tried to use on Mayor Brouse. - |

Hottest Days of Summer.

Tuesday and Wednesday were the hottest days of the summer, Ligonier themometers registering from 95 to 97 degrees in the shade. So far as known there were no heat prostrations in Noble county. :
