DRAKE ROAD DECISION - Noble County Commissioners Win In. junction Suit Venued to DeKalb oy County :
A decision of interest to Kendallville and Noble county residents was handed down Friday by Judge Dan M. Link of the DeKalb circuit court in which he refused to grant an injunction against the county commissioners J. J. Cole and others of Noblec ounty had asked the court to restrain the commissioners from proceeding . with the construction of a concrete road west from Kendallville. The road involved in the court action is four miles long and, thg improvement will cost $120,000. An appeal will be taken to the supreme court attorneys for the petitioners .announced. . The highway to be improved is known as the Drake road apnd its construction will divert travel frbm the Toledo and Chicago pike, taking it over what is known as the south route thus avoiding the dangerous overhead bridge at Brimfield and the treachersous sink hole just west of Kendallville. It also does away with a dangerous dailway crossing. The. county commissicners will no doubt proceed with the work now that the petition for an injunction is denied. ; i
