Miller'd addition to said city of Ligonier, and Spring street as platted in West Lawn Addition to said city of Ligonier and all forming one continuous, street extending from Cavin ‘Street in, said ecity westward to the corporation line, be, echanged. to, and that hereafter said street be known as and called “Lincoln Way West.” ' Section 2. By the statements published in the Banner it will be noted that the banks of Noble county are prosperous. The Citizens Bank -of Ligonier has resources of $946,500. This institution often goes above the million mark. Another bank which is fast geing te the front is the State Bank of Kimmell. By its statement published in this issue resorces are shown to be about $117,000. Conidering the age of the Kimmell bank thé showing is a good one. The other monetary institutions of the ecounty are in very flourishing conditions. ;

- Internal revenue tax collacted in Indiana this year is omly about onehalf the sum received last year and the ratio of loss will no doubt hold good 'in all the states of the Union. This great loss of revenue from business depression may prove embarrassing to the federal government. It must be remembered that the depression and loss of taxes occurs under a republican administration.
Miss Bertha Deßerry.has gone to ‘her home in Bicknell to consult her physician. She recently submited to .2 nasal operation which did not give the proper relief. In her absence her place as primary teacher in the sehools will be filled by an experienced teacher from Marion.
