Obituary.
Mrs., Sevilla Eliza Nowells Yeager daughter of Joseph and Lucinda Nowellg died March 6 1922. = Sevilla Nowells was born Nov. 29 1849 in Elkhart county.. The greater part of her girlthood days were spent in the neighborhood of her birth. When she grew to women hoed she became the wife of Jacob Yeager who was a native of Pennsylvania. = To this union were born seven children, five boys and two girls all oi] whom are living. ' As a mother, she endured many hardships and was very patient and kind through' it all. . 1 - She was the last survivior of the Nowell family, - having four brothers that preceded her to the better land. . - Beside the seven childrgp there are seventeen grandchildren left to mourn her loss. ; i She was a member of the Methodist: church at Topeka. Both the church and the vicinity loses a good noble and’ true hearted woman and the family a devoted mother always ready and willing to help in time of trouble. " She lived to the ripe old age of 72 years, 3 months and seven days. Not now but in the coming years It may be in the better land & We'll read the meaning of our tears - And then sometime we’ll understand - ; : o e God knows the way, He holds the key He guides us with unerring hand, ‘Sometime with tearless eyes we'll see Yes there, up there, we'll under- ‘ stand. . : .
