Politics seem to have cut quit a figure in the election of county school superintendents over the state this vear. In most instances democrats were replaced by republicans. Miss Myrtle Smith, daughter of Mrs. Lena Smith residing three miles north of Kendallville was united in marriage yesterday at Washington D. C. to William Key, a native of Georgia. W. J. Bolitho will represent the local lodge of Elks at the National convention to be held in Los Angeles, California the middle of July. He expects to. be absent Oon the trip over two weeks. S i ‘Master James Kern, of New Carlisle who had been a guest of Mr. and Mrs, E. G. Franks for several weeks returned to his home Tuesday accompanied by his cousin Stanley Franks who will visit a week at the Kern home.
