’ - Rooster Returns. . ~ When Mrs. Lousis Schnoll went to her chicken coop Saturday morning to gather the eggs she discovered the presence among the hens of a strange rooster. = Mr.. Schnoll was called to examine the bird and he recognized it as a fowl stolen from him along with 22 other chickens o year ago. The rooster had been exchanged for a valuable hen in the nightime. by some party unknown. ’ ~ Stabbed Wife Twice. Walter Biddle, of South Bend,: angry at his wife because she would not live with him, rushed into the South Bend restaurant where she is employed and before anybody knew what he was trying to do, stabbed her twice. ~ She will recover.
