Cuts Price of Oil and Gas. | A reduction of 3 cents a gallon” in the price of both gasoline and kerosene. became effective Tuesday throughout the territory of the Standard Oil company of Indiana. . %' Fatal Egg Dyes.': = - Hazel Milner, 10 ygars old, formerly of Mishawaka, committed suicide at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Schroeder, residing in Michigan by swallowing a large quantity of Ester egg dyes. The girl was dead when found by relatives, - e oA ee i R s 2 5 ~ Columbia City- Girl Elopes. Miss Edith Reynolds of Columbia City, who eloped last week with a soldier giving his name as H. E. Gilbert, is bound for Texas. One nessage said the couple were married in lowa. The elopement has created quite a sensation in Columbia City. - ‘ That Hound Dog. George (Nick) Burwell of Cosperville, formerly of ,Kendallville was arrested by Officer George Auer, on a charge of stealing a fox hound dog, valued at $75 from a Mr. Brundige, over three months -ago. -
