- Pecullar Accldent. = Mrs. Albert Lindsay while driving near the Brimfield bridge Tuesday met with a peculiar accident when her horse was struck by a chicken crate protruding from the back of a. heavily laden truck. The truck passed the buggy safely but the crate hit _the horse causing it to rup away and break loose from the shafts. *rs. Lindsay saved: herself from injury by not jumping from the buggy. The horse was captured and Mrs. Lindsay led the aniinal home, three miles and a half from where the accident happened. 0 - ; * Testing Sanity ei Strange Man., - Albion physicians held a sanity inquest at the jail Tuesday the subjéet being a strange young man who was taken into custody several months ago at Merriam, where he frighienéd the populace by his queer actions. Just why the inquest did not occur sooner is not explained. : : | *_ Kendaliville Man Arrested. Harry Mclntosh ‘of Kendallville, a veterinary surgeon., was arrested in South Bend for carrying concealed weapons.- He was found to be carrying a Colt pistol when he was arrested. :
