: ~ Order Was Revoked, - Fort Wayne, May 11—Acting On authority received from the office of the state highway commission at Indianapolis, Division Engineer W. T. Horn and District Syperintendent W. C. Sionif have taken over the maintenance of the Fart Wayne-Decater road as a portion of the state highways. The local office of the highway 0 start work on the Lima road, from Fort Wayne to Kendallville but this order was rescindeed a few hours after its receipt: Phe Fort Wayne- Ken‘dallville route was one of those involved in the controversy over the change in the route of the Lincoin “highway. ; : M. E. Church Burns. ; The M. E church at Milford wus destroyed by fire entalling » losr of $20.000 with insurance of only $2.400. It was a brick veneer structure and will be rebuilt. Rev. Mrs. Emma A. Deuerling, 61, died at her home in Kendallville eaily Monday after an ililness of more than a year, following a stroke of paralysis in December, 1918. She was united im marriage to Joseph A. Deuerling in 1877, and he preceeded he in death nineteen years ago. Surviving are two children: George A.
