Milo Kline of North thister is again in jail at Warsaw. e was arrested at Kimmell last Thursday by the Whitley county sheriff in company with another suspicious character named White, who was wanted in Missouri. Kline and his partner had been working in the onion flelds near Wolf Lake for some time, but the authorities did not get him located until last week. The officers found the two men at Kimmell on their way to Kendallville and out of the country, they having bad a tip that something might bappen. Joseph M. Harkless, a former citizen of Albion Wwas drowned in the Calumet river, near East Chicago, last Friday morning. He had gone to the river to spend the day with a daughter, who was eamping with other girl friends nearby. He went into the water to take a swim. when he was suddenly attacked by cramps and called for help. His daughter, who was a good swimmer went to his assistance and was nearly drowned by the franticman She was rescued by a girl companion. The fuperal was held at Albion Sunday.
