Mr. Taft visited the White House a short time after reaching the city and had a conferdnce with the president and the board of engineers who accompanied him to Panama. Milwaukee, Feb. 17.—0 Otto Nimmer, driver of engine company No. 19, died at the Emergency hospital yesterday afternoon from injuries sustained Saturday at the fire at the H. W. Johns-Manville plant.
