All of the accused gave bond soon after arrest and these bonds will stand until the court hearings. There Is every indication that these hearings will be held almost immediately. District Attorney W. A. Blakely, who now has charge of the prosecution, as well as officers and attorneys for the Vot ers’ league, seems anxious to go to .trial as early as possible, the general belief being that the result of these _trials and the diSclosures thereat will largely determine the question of proceeding against others under suspicion. Most of the accused men are anxious to bave prompt hearings, ap“parently, because they are candidates for re-election to the council. : SETTLEMENT DRAFT PRESENTED cqmmiaion‘;r_ Buchanan from Wash~ington Gives Out Venezuelan Plan.
