The marriage of Miss Anna Katharine Lardon aund Mr. Chauncey H. Kunee of this city was solemuized on Thursday eveubng, December 31, 1908 at éhe home of Mrs: Clara Cook in Albion, the Rev. G. The bride is one of Ligouier's worthy young ladies and has been one of the courteous operators at the local telephone exchange for several vears. The groom is an industrious young man of good habits, The happy couple‘will reside in Ligonier. : b ‘
James A. Turley, a former resident of this eity, died at Aogola last Sunday night. He Bad been in })oor health for some time but was able'to be about the house and on Sunday evening he retired as usual. In the morning when Miss Parish called him she received no response and upon ‘entering the room found that he had passed away in the night. Death was due to heart fallure. He: died on his seventy-sixth anniversary. He wasa native of Canada and had lived in Angola for twenty yvears. Prior to that he had lived at Wolcottville and in this ecity, his wife dying here. He is svrvived by two sons, Frank J, and Fred. W, and a daughter, Cora Lee Turley. His sister-in-law, Miss Fela Parish assisted him in kee%lng his famt%;mtogetber and since the wife's degth, Mr. Turley as well as the childrertbave had a home -with her.
